Online Learn to Draw Workshops

Join me online for a series of fun and practical workshops on how to draw.  The sessions start with a free introduction session and then continue with another four sessions at £10pp all held on Zoom.  Each session is stand alone so you can complete all or some of the sessions. You will need joining details to enter these sessions. 

Wednesday 30th September 2020 – 10.00 – 11.00am – Drawing Viewpoints£10 

We look at why viewpoint is important and explore a practical activity which will help us to capture differing viewpoints and improve our drawing skills.  Please bring pencils and a sketchpad.  Places Available –  Contact Me

Wednesday 7th October – 10.00 – 11.00am – Drawing Faces – £10. 

We look at how to draw faces by dividing up the head into basic proportions.  We will practice these rules through a fun practical activity, please bring pencils and a sketchpad.  Places Available – Contact Me

Wednesday 14th October – 10.00 – 11.00am  – Drawing Light, Shadows and Tone – £10 

We look at how to capture tonal values through some simple activities and explore shadows in pencil and/or charcoal.  Places Available – Contact Me

Tuesday 20th October 2020 – 10.30 – 11.30am –   Drawing with Inks  – £10

Tuesday 8th December 2020 – 6.30 – 7.30pm –   Using Colour & Colour Mixing in Painting  – £10

Try your Hand at Art (Online) – 4 Sessions (Free)

This course will make art fun, offering you the chance to tip your toe into a number of creative processes, such as drawing and painting with a range of mediums. Over the four week course, you will be guided through a number of simple, creative exercises, learn about techniques and imaginatively consider what you can do creatively with materials to hand, enabling you to explore and gain confidence making artworks.

Try your hand at Smartphone Photography (Online) – 4 Sessions (Free)

Use your smartphone to produce photographs to see your immediate surroundings afresh. Over this four-week course you will learn how to compose your subject and use your smartphone photography apps to adjust lighting settings and edit your photos.
