Drawing Taster – 1 Session (Free)
Take time out to enjoy observing and drawing real life objects close-up. In this workshop you will learn some tips and tricks for drawing objects and subjects at close range and how to capture detail and texture. Bring the drawing materials of your choice such as pencil, pen, colouring pencils and your sketchpad or some paper and an object of choice and enjoy a relaxing hour of observing and drawing.

Online Drawing Progression Course – 4 Sessions (Free)
Enjoy finding out more about a range of drawing techniques in this 4-week short course that will introduce you to drawing objects from real life. You will learn about shape, proportion, line, negative space and mark making through a range of drawing exercises that encourage you to look carefully with fresh eyes. Take the time to really look at objects and try different approaches to drawing by experimenting, using everyday tools and materials. No drawing experience is necessary, just the enthusiasm to want to learn to draw better sharpen your observational drawing skills.

Drawing Nature – 2 Sessions £70
This course is a 2 day consecutive workshop that weather permitting will enable you to enjoy relaxed time looking and drawing nature. This course covers all the key elements of drawing, shape, proportion, line, tone and texture through looking at plants, flowers and trees. You will be encouraged to experiment with different media and develop a ‘nature sketchbook’ from the course. Weather permitting, we will sketch outside and observe nature from life, if the weather is wet we will take samples indoors and sketch under shelter.
This course takes place at City College, Norwich in their well resourced art studio and their private college garden.

Mixed Media Drawing – 5 Sessions – £70
This course will introduce you to some mixed media drawing techniques. We will be exploring mediums such as pencil, pastel, charcoal, ink, watercolour and collage. Perhaps you are curious as to how a mix mediums successfully or your just wish to enliven your drawing then this course is for you! Each week is dedicated to looking into a medium and how it can be combined with other mediums. This course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience of drawing.
